Well if the biggest problem is the brakes maybe i'll just look at buying a hydrolic brake kit for it an we already have the oil injecter blocked off so we dont have to worry about that. And I dont think i will have to worry about size considdering that i am only 13 and wiegh 125 and am 5 feet and four inches tall so i think it will be a good quad for me!

Hey rickyrocket or whatever,I do have a 250R,and I comment on alot of different subjects because I am an ATV mechanic who happens to work at a Yamaha/Arctic Cat dealership. If you must know I weigh 145lbs.In my opinion Blasters aren't overpriced(yes they cost more than the go-cart you probably ride, but they come with front brakes, fenders and 6 gears go-carts don't)Also I can borrow a Blaster from my dealership any day of the week so I don't have to wish I had one.
All slams aside any machine that gets more enthusiests out on the trails because it is within their price range deserves a thumbs up.
88' 250R faster than ricky wants to go

They are cheap to buy and seem to be a good machine, never owned one but know a few people who have. They are snappy and the motor comes out of a long used and reliable enduro motor cycle. and i imagine a top end rebiuld would cost very little. and would not seem to difficult. had a freind who would rebuild his top end before every season wether it needed it or not just for peace of mind.
