2006 TRX450ER STARTING ISSUES
#1
POSSIBLY NEEDS VALVE ADJUSTMENT, CRANKING OVER BUT WON'T ACTUALLY START UNLESS BUMPED. RUN'S OK AFTER THAT. SEEMS LIKE IT HAPPENED OVER NIGHT. I'M GOING TO ATTEMPT TO ADJUST THE VALVES MYSELF. I HAVE THE SERVICE MANUEL AND THE FEELER GAUGES. IS IT THAT HARD, AND DO YOU THINK THAT THIS IS THE PROBLEM? NEW PLUGS,AIRFILTER,FRESHGAS,NEW OIL AND TRANS FLUID. AND SPARK BUT NO START !!!

If it just started happening, I would suggest perhaps a clogged idle (pilot) jet, caused by a bad batch of gas maybe????
Do you have stock jetting??? These are jetted lean from the factory, and it wouldn't hurt to fattin it up a little anyway...which will help it start more easily.
