Default 2005 Honda Rincon fuel gauge flashes

Hi everyone I'm new here in the forum and I have a question.I own a 2005 Honda Rincon 650 GPScape.I recently had the dash replaced at my local Honda shop because the GPS wasn't working. Now my fuel gauge is flashing all the time even when my tank is full.Does anyone know what would be making my fuel gauge blink all the time? Thanks for any info

I believe on that year it has a 2 pin connector that is under the steering stem cover...

If the thing is under warranty, I'd take it back to the shop.

If not, the service manual says that with the plug unplugged, all segments should blink, and with a wire jumped between both pins on the meter side of the plug, all segments should blink... If not, bad meter.

Then it says to remove the sending unit, and see if the meter reads full when the float is lifted, and empty when it is allowed to hang down.

Sensor should be 5-7 ohms in the full position, and 204 to 210 ohms at empty position.

Anyway, if it is still under warranty I'd say it is SEP (someone else's problem) to fix... Good luck.
