Default 420 gas **** on left side?

how and what does it take to move the gas **** on the 07 rancher 420 from the right side to the left side? i have seen some people move it and put their snorkle threw the precut hole so they dont have to cut the plastic. i want to move it to the left side for ease of use while riding

This machine has a fuel pump, it isn't gravity feed like a carburated quad. It will be hard on your fuel pump if you ever let it run dry. Best to use the fuel gauge, and switch to reserve before you need to....not on the fly when your engine is already starting to stall!

No disrespect but that's just lazy. The gas gage is right in your face plus you don't have to bend down to look at it. The gas valve you would have to bend over and reach for it.

I haven't seen anybody move it to the left side but people remove the plastic gas valve and run the snorkel through it. They don't touch the gas pump at all. They leave the gas on the on position. I really don't see how you swap the plastic from one side to the other, won't fit at all, if I understand what you wrote.

im not lazy i just like to make everything easy the plastic would stay on the sides they are supposed to be on. i would make something on the left some how so i didnt have to cut any holes anywhere, although i did read somewhere that the plastic sides are only $20 to replace.

can anyone tell me if i can unbolt the **** from the gas tank and turn it so its facing to the left instead of the right? or is that a valve and it can only go one way?

im not sure if i explained that good enough. ill try and draw a pic
