I have a 1997 foreman trx 400 4x4 I would like to somehow put floorboards on. Has anyone fabricated or is there an aftermarket add on.

Anyone with a welder and semi decent skills can make you a set. Dennis Kirk has them. So does Honda parts world. Ebay has them quite often.

Not sure, but I think only the ES models can have full floor boards. It would be hard to toe under the foot shifter with full length boards.

The regular 400 floorboards, if made for the paticular model, have a space under the foot shifter for your foot. At least all that I have saw do.

The foot shift 500 foremans have floorboards stock. They just need to be shaped right to get your toe underneath.
