clutch ajustment

Default clutch ajustment

i have a 06 350rancher i ajusted my clutch clutch today and it says in the manual that loosen the bolt and turn this screw thing counterclock wise untill u feel slight resistence and then turn clock wise 1/4 i did that and i went ride and when i would down shift some times to like 1st 2nd or 3rd when i pudh the lever down it dosent shift the lever goes down get dosent shift lift the lever back up then press down it shifts then i shift from 1st to nutral i press down on the lever in nutral and it goed down it dose not suppose to do that then i prees down it again to see if i would do it again but it dosent wat u think is wrong should i turn the screw another turn or wat

Default clutch ajustment

Did you do the clutch adjustment with a warm motor ( it should be).
Were you sure the screw didnt also turn when the nut was snugged up? Hold it in place with the screwdriver, while snugging the nut.
