I'M PRETTY SURE YOU HAVE TO TAKE OFF THE HANDLEBARS, OR YOUR FRONT TIRES

The 400ex is too tall- I doubt it would fit if you took off the handlebars-maybe taking them AND all the wheels off would allow it to fit, but it would be close

I think I'd make a 500 dollar purchase for a trailer before I would put that in a $35,000 vehicle!

If I loosen the handlebar (so I can turn it until it almost touches the fuel tank), I can fit my shee in a Pontiac Montana. I think you will have a hard time with height...try it! Get ramps, bring it up easy, and see what can be done

I fit a yamaha breeze once in our ford expedition. It scraped up the cloth on the top and was a pain to do. Not worth the touble. I wouldn't even try to fit a 400ex. Just rent something from u haul or get a trailer.

Get somebody to stand on the front push bar and while the shocks are compressed, use a tie down to strap the a-arms to the frame to keep them compressed. Do this if lowering handlebars isn't enough. Remember, loading it up ramps puts the quad at an angle which helps with clearing. Let us know if it fits

I tried once to get my quadsport in the back of our expedition. It had no chance of fitting so I doubt that the 400ex would fit in it.
