eletrical problem HELP!!

Default eletrical problem HELP!!
nothing happens when i hit the start button.fires right up when i put a screwdriver on the battery.checked the grounds and everythings tight.also when i gas it the lights dim...what gives??

Default eletrical problem HELP!!
well to start with id check the on off switch with a test lite, sometimes they gets corrosion in them then check connections going to the starter solinoid
