I have an 87 250X with the 4/110 front bolt pattern, not knowing this i bought some wheels that are 4/144. My question is can i change out just the front hubs to a 300EX that has the 4/144 bolt pattern and every thing work right? Or would it just be better to go ahead and get 300EX spindles, hubs, brakes and all?

 

um dont 300ex have 4/110 bolt pattern too?

 

yea i am pretty sure that they have the same bolt pattern

 

The 4/110 is rear and 4/144 is front. I think that front hubs should switch from the 300ex to the 250x. I wonder if you got the wrong wheels, though, because the 250x should be 4/144 up front.

 

My brother-in-law has a 95 300EX and the front wheels that i bought will bolt on it, but you can look at my 250X and noticably tell it's a smaller bolt pattern. So i'm confused because i thought they were the same.

I found out for sure that the 86-87 250X do have the 4/110 front pattern. Now does anyone know it the bearings in the hubs are the same as a 300EX? I'm thinking i can just swap out the hubs.

 

yea you should be able to swap out the hubs

 

I have a similar problem where I have some 4/110 bolt pattern rims/wheels and need the hubs. I would be glad to take those old hubs off your hands.
