I THINK IT IS SOME SORT OF ELECTRCAL PROBLEM , IT IS THE ELECTRIC SHIFT THAT STOPS WORKING. BEFOR THAT IS SHIFTS FINE . ALSO NO CODES IN THE ECM....UNPLUG THE BATTERY FOR A FEW MIN IT STARS SHIFTING AGAIN/...
OLD404~~~ will you post the result of the clutch adjustment? I am having the same problem on my rancher and am curious if this will work. Otherwise, its off to the shop on thursday.
MAY THE CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT , RODE IT FOR ABOUT 10 MIN BACK TO NOT SHOFTING. WHEN IT DOES THIS IT DOES NOT EVR TRYTO SHIFT. WE UNHOOK THE BATTERY FOR ABOUT 10 MIN IT STARTS TO SHIFT AGAIN.. ANY OTHER HELP??????????????
Turn the key off and on several times, it usually works. If reverse is a problem, there is a connector underneath the trans that looks like a sparkplug wire, take it off, clean it, and put it back on.
