customer service is great......you can sit it the the mudhole and wait for the UPS GUY everytime you use it.</end quote></div>
Agreed, for the few extra $$$ I'd rather have a decent winch and get home at a decent hour instead of speanding the nite in the woods cursing on plastic gears and faulty parts.

got my parts from gorilla yesterday, and put the winch back together. went out to the same hill i broke it on, and winched up and down it, 8 times, using about 40 ft.of the cable. no problems. i had to winch out of the creek, so i winched up, and down it, 4 times no problem. all this winching took place in about 20 minutes. the motor was hot, but not hot enough you couldn't keep your hand on it. both these hills are steep enough you can't ride up them, well the first one you can, if you can get a really good running start. anyway, will do more testing this weekend. also, all these pulls were straight line, no block and tackle were used.

I'm not sure I didn't tear it apart. I just took it off and sent it back. But it wouldn't hold. When I was winching it would release the spool (it would slip) I'm not sure if that made sense? But as I used it, it got worse and worse, by the end of the ride it would barely move my wheeler. It mostly made a horrible noise while sometimes grabbing and sometimes slipping. Hopefully I will get a good one! I am a little nervous about putting it back on. I have a 2000 lb Warn on my wifes 500 and she will never use it, so I might put the Gorilla on it and the Warn on my 700.
