i am taking it by a small shop in the morning. i asked if they have a chain in stock and they do not. i wont be taking the bike on any rides away from the house and if the chain pops back off i will know. the bike will stop [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

I would order a chain online from "Honda parts-direct . com " they sell the chain for $11.12 , or you can get one from anyone of a dozen other online stores they are cheaper than from a local dealer .. Your chain will probably pop off again if you hit to many bumps...

 

HondaMechanic, Is there a good place a person could order one of those clutch pullers reasonably?

 

Since you asked Hondamechanic the question, I appologize for jumping in here with an answer.
Since I went on my own, away from Honda, I have been faced with finding pullers etc...
Honda pullers costing $100 through them can be found for $25 to $40 normally from a place called Pit Posse.

i got my manual in but i am still waiting to get the clutch off. the cycle shop coulnd not find the tool and ordered a new one. they had a mechanic quit and suspect it may have left with him [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

That's funny right there. When I quit, I was accused of stealing tools also.
I went back to the store one day and flat told them that if they want to come over to my shop, house or check any of my vehicles or property for stolen Honda tools, to come right over... I have reciepts for every tool in my posession. I am one of those techs that if I need a tool 3 times, I buy it.
