I have a 200sx that has been shifting fine until now. When in reverse, you can not shift to neutral or any forward gear while the engin is running. Shut off the engin and it shifts fine. All other gears shift, act fine. Weirdest thing! Can anyone point me in the right direction so that I can make the proper repair?

 

On the right side of the engine, near the trans, there is a nut with a slotted screw in it. The nut is a lock nut and the slotted screw adjusts the clutch. With the bike in neutral, loosen the lock nut and screw the screw in until it stops, then back it out 1/2 turn, then tighten the lock nut being careful not to change the adjustment. You may have to fine tune the adjustment a little but this is a good start point.
