TRX 700xx TOPSPEED STOCK???? do you know where i can find a bore kit for a trx 700xx

My 700xx with Powercommander programer slip on exhaust with velocity intake does 78mph. It will do much more with port polish, Aluminum piston, Alba cam and high performance valve kit!!!! The cheapest way for more power or top end would be change sprockets though!

 

According to another thread here, it will easily be out run by a 400ex.

 

I cant see that a 400ex would even give it a run. With a few mods it will smoke a raptor! Ive raced an hopped up Predator 500 and no hope for it at all! Anyone in Wpg MB area with a 400ex wanna race?

a 700XX might smoke a raptor off a cliff...700cc/505 pounds/IRS is not going to outrun 700cc/420 pounds/SRA unless you are racing over railroad tracks diagonally. The 700XX is a holy terror in Baja, but put the Raptor and the 700XX on a motocross track, a dragstrip, a hillclimb, a sand dune...the Raptor will roost the rider off the 700XX.

Yeah, "a few mods" on anything can make it run better...In fact fourstroke tech made a kit that would make a 300EX smoke a stock 400EX, but all that means is that you spent more money on something inferior to try and make it better than a superior machine. If you put the equivalent money/mods into the Raptor that you put on the 700XX, who's gonna smoke who?

Yes all atv's with a few hop up mods will perform better than stock! The raptor is more suited to motocross with a solid rear axle but never the less the honda xx can be riden all weekend on the trail with a very comfortable ride! Keep in mind that the honda is very state of the art and high tech and is very unrated with alot of potential! The 700XX did win the Baja 1000 for the last 2 years with Wayne Matlock's Honda team against all other types of highly modified quads of all brands and the trx 450 was second in line! Honda was designed for comfort first but will hold its own for most riders its a completly different ride with rear IFS than most quads!

 

On another note has anybody heard about how a DS650 performs? I think it also is very under rated!
