first of all is it shaft driven
and does it have a pull rope
if it has a pull rope the should be a small shaft close to the pull rope with some splines on it stick about an inch or so out.
grab it with some pliers and turn it and it should make it shift cuz mine got stuck like that.
but i gota figure out my submission my high gears wont work. i only got reverse and low. if you can tell me how to do that.
hey man i had the same problem with the one i jus rebuilt make sure your shift drum is in nutral . install the shift forks with makings up and put the shift forks in this order right, center, left. and make sure the forks are in the grove to the left should slide in pretty easy. and if it still dosnet shift let me know.

i gues the question i have is how do i figure out where the shift drum should be. i have the manual and i did it like the picture and that didnt seem to get the job done. but i know i have the forks in the right way. the other thing i thought is that maybe i put a gear on facing the wrong way but i am 90% sure that i have them the right way. i built it with it in nuetral and thought it was good throughout the build.
R ur gears poping in and out or r they just not working at all??? thanx
