If you want to be able to take it in, and out of fourwheel drive Warn makes a 4-2-4 selector kit. It replaces the frount drive shaft wit one that has a little doghouse on it, and a cable so you can engage and disengage the frount dif. It makes it better when trail riding so you can power the rearend around a turn.

gear case ?you mean differentials.....
.
i have the 424 kit on a 300 fourtraxx a nice addition.....
.
it will preform well with stock tires and handel good ....larger grippy tires will do better in the mud but sacrafice handeling(most 300 and 350 owners say any thing over 26" are to big for this machine)
.
you may want to get a jet kit to go with your unifilter so it dosnt run to lean??
.
and check the vent lines coming from the engine case and differentials..to make sure there not dry rotted...
