Why don't Honda make anything in the 125cc range anymore? It goes from 90cc to 250cc

They must have not sold too many. It's all supply and demand. If it isn't in demand then they would stop selling it no matter what it was. Unless it's an act of Congress. My first quad was a brand new '87 Honda trx125. It was fun and reliable and dedicated me to Honda. If I had started on anything else I would have either killed myself or been too bored. It was a great starter quad.

I did see a LT125 84 model barely out pull a TRX125 86 model on dirt. They both had same top end speed, which the suzuki LT-125 was clocked at 45 (out ran a 40mph Honda Mopad). Is 45mph accurate to your 87 model?
Did the 87 model have shocks, cause the 86 & 85 didn't.

No my '87 125 did not have shocks. As far as speed I don't exactly remember, it probably did top out at about 40-45.

I know I used to own an '85 ATC125M which was the best 4 stroke 3 wheeler ever in mass production.

I loved that machine, until the engine blow up after 13 years of extreme use, I sold it for $50 bucks.

At least you had the joy of blowing it up after so many years. Mine was stolen. Me and my "girlfriend" are still looking for it along with my 200 yamaha.

I beleive that was a hint of sarcasim. It was just the point of the matter, I could of used those for a trade in on something new.

My first quad was a 1986 honda 125.it had no shocks. I don't know where you guys get your speeds out but my manual told me top speed was 20mph and i even got it topped out on a highway at 19mph. It had something like 11/48 gearing and not much power. Man theres no way that a honda 125 could keep up with a suki 125. The suzuki's were just plain faster. My brothers 125 suki kept up with my honda 200sx.

If my Honda 125 had topped out at 19mph I would have just kept my powerwheel or just ride the lawnmower.
