Kewlpop, do you have the HL Fender Kit installed. This is the main reason I am looking for a new skid before my next oil change. It was such a pain in the rear to get that on and lined up with the bolts, I fear that my next oil change will be a 2 man 4 hour job.

TEXMud: Yes I do have pictures up on the Rancher with the Armodillo skid plate on it. It is at my website at the clear bottom (I think 3rd or so from the bottom). I really must say it is not the greatest looking, but when i went to cut it off (to make it just a normal skid) I remembered how bad we dented up our front bash plates last summer. We were in heavy rocks in a creek bed and that was all she wrote. We broke the plastic guard on the Rubicon, Dented the Ranchers, and 400 all to pieces (ended up costing more to replace all of these than to take a chance with a plastic skid). The Armodillo I must admit was a chance I took since I never saw one or even knew much about them. However after talking to Charley I dicided to take a chance. It, was thicker than I thought it would be, it mounts pretty well also. I also remember (like Kewlpop said about the Ruby's Skid, HOW TRUE!) changing the oil on the Rubicon this last summer, what a pain in the butt. IT was bent to heck. Thats why I chose plastic instead of metal. IT does get scratched up, but it's extemely flexable and hasn't broke or cracked yet. But it is all in what you like.

No, I don't have any lift kits added. Stock machine other than a set of titan 589's on. I had a heck of a time also with the changing of my oil with the skid plate fiasco.Problem solved after i walloed out the mounting holes on the skid plate. Like i said go one to two sizes larger bit size in making your stock skid plate mounting holes larger.Dont drill into the nuts that are welded into your frame. I am talking about aluminum skid plate's only now. After you have drilled out these holes your stock skid plate will go on alot faster and with ease. Just becarefull not to cross thread the bolts when reinstalling. I dont advise using air ratched for this application, hand start each one.

Sorry, I've been away for a few days. I had the Maier, and had everything ready to install, when I realized that they had sent me the wrong one. I sent it back, and the right one should be coming in a few days. I can try to get some pictures for you, but it will have to be by the slow method (snap, develop, scan), as I don't have a digital camera. Let me know if you want me to.
