05 400ex brake light!?!?!?

wow. whats the deal with all the missing springs?? bu=ought the only way i can them going missing is if the light bulb contacts were removed, along with the spring. but the spring was never put back in. the springs i have "if i can find them" will go to the glass push in round base twist type. as the springs came out out trailer lights that i changed to leds. give me a few days see if i can find them . if i do i will have 2.

i just seen that. have you check a few atv junk yards? there are like 3 within 50miles of me...

na haven't actually thought of that. I don't think i've ever even heard of any near me but i'll have to look and see. good idea.

It is a spring i think... that is on a bracket attached to the frame about 4 inches or so above and behind the back brake pedal. it connects to the switch through a little hole and then connects somewhere on the pedal, so when you push the brake lever down it pulls a piece out of the end of the black switch thing and turns the brake lights on, so once you take foot off the brakes, the end goes back in the switch and turns brakes off.
