I've been looking for a decent budget 4 wheeler as my first one and purchased a Rancher today.
It is a 2001 orange 350 4X4 manual.
It already has a snorkel kit, K&N filter, Highlifter lift, 26" Super Swamper Vampires, locker differential, Warn 4-2-4, clutch kit and I think that's it...
I only plan on adding an exhaust of some kind, still searching on that.
The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't have any gauges...but I guess that's just less stuff to break

FMF PowerCore IV or PowerLine. the PowerCore will give the best performance, and the PowerLine will hold up best under rough conditions: FMF Racing - Products for 2001 HONDA FourTrax Rancher 350
Not sure what if anything is available out there in terms of headers????
My personal experience is that huge tires and lift kits just ruin the Rancher's sweet trail quad handling! Not the right platform on which to build a monster mud machine.....

I forgot to add that it also has a front disc brake conversion
How often does the Powercore need to be "re-packed"?
Too late..it's already been done..hah
