I got water in cylinder tryin to cross river. After draining cylinder, cleaning carb it starts and runs but with no power and top speed of about 30 mph.
there doesn't seem to be any abnormal noises. Suggestions???

Is the air cleaner clean?

Getting water into the intake on a running engine can bend a rod or cause other major internal damage.
