Great to hear it's running, but, only running on choke and dying out when pushing the throttle is a sign that the jets are clogged. The Honda choke is more of an enriching circuit that is separate from the jets. When it is engaged it opens a separate passage for gas to bypass the jets and flow into the carb. when you either close the choke or press the gas it is starving because the jets can't take over cause they are clogged. And no the more air flow the better, that's why they sell hi flow filters for these machines.

Ok, well..we're closer than we were!
I'm paranoid bout those jets.
Just sounds complicated.I'm afraid I won't get those all put back like they were.

All you need to do is exactly what you already done but unscrew the jets one will be under the plastic piece that fell out at first and the second one will be right next to it. The one right next to the center one is the pilot jet that is the one that makes it idle and works till about 1/4 throttle then the needle jet takes over thats the one you see when you press the throttle and look in the carb. throat where the air goes in, it works till about 3/4 throttle then the main jet takes over thats the one under the plastic piece in the center that fell out. The pilot jet is recessed into the tube next to the center one and needs to be removed with a flathead screwdriver. Clean the holes in the jets reinstall and go ride. P.S. remember to spray the holes out that the jets go into.

Kind of ironic about the fire extinguisher cause I inspect fire suppression systems.

Simply unscrew clean and screw them back in till tight. The pilot jet will be long with a hole in the center down the length if it with holes on the sides clean it out I use a couple strands of fine wire twisted together do the same to the main jet it will be short with a larger single hole down the center.
