Default 2011 Recon parts needed

Just purchased a new 2011 Recon to follow the kids around on their dirt bikes. I am new to atvs since I have always ridden dirt bikes. She stated I could use it for hunting so the deal was done. I am trying to find a front winch mount and rear trailer hitch for this machine; however, I am not having any luck. I can't seem to find parts for anything newer than 2008 or 2009. Does anyone have info on newer machines or know if there were no changes and the parts should fit? I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks.

The recon has been unchanged for years and years. Although I am not positive, I would say yours is the same as always. But, just to be sure, call a Honda ATV dealer and ask.

I agree with Budedm.....other than some cosmetic changes, I doubt there is much, if any, difference in the Recons, as far as frame, motor, tranny, rear end...etc..

My son has an 09 Recon and it looks just like the 2011 model. In fact, on Honda's website, the years listed for the Recon are "2011/2009"...

Heres the specs of a 05 vs a 11 there the same ATV. 2011 Honda FourTrax® Recon® (TRX®250TM) ATVs

The ATV has not place to mount a trailer ball? We go on some crazy Hunting fishing trips all loaded up and a the 2wd 250 ATV do very well. Most up the rear tires size to 24" for more clearance and traction,a 250 has the power for it not problem, I had 25" rear tires on my 250 Yamaha Moto4.

Heres a 1992 200 2wd Honda on one of our trips, the red one. and its chain drive.

Bottom pic is my old 250 Moto4 with 25" tires on the front and back.

I believe I found the solution. I noticed on an online honda dealer site they list a trailer hitch kit for the 2011 Recon for close to $200.00. The kit includes the trailer hitch and all the electrical for a transmission temp warning system. You can piece just the hitch parts for about $50.00 so I believe that is what I will do. Not to worried about the transmission oil temp for the sporadic and light use. Thanks for all the information.
