Default URGENT! Diamond J Custom or Full Flight?

I have a buddy selling a set of both and I have to make my mind up by tonight.

Both are 6" wider than stock.

One is the Diamond J custom Widening/Lowering kit (the 1/4 steel plates)
The other is the Full Flight A-arm 6" wider (full a-arm kit)

Both kits are complete (tie rod or tie rod extenders too) and in near new.

I'm using it for Ice racing, so I need this to lower my front by about 3.5". The Diamond J custom kit does this. With the Full flight kit, I would have to install shocks from a 300ex or something that is shorter than the 400EX stock to do the same thing, or re-locate the top shock mounts.

The difference in price is not much, about $100 (the Full Flights are more expensive, but I would have to probably get new shocks or re-weld upper mount to lower)

I've heard they both suck (most people say), but I cant decide what way would be better. No MX style jumps for me. Just ice racing.

I've heard some say the increased bump steer with the Diamond J Customs kit is annoying, but the heim joint on the Full Flight kit is garbage and noisy.

Any advice would be appreciated. I have no clue what to do.

The Diamond J system will make your front end a lot heavier . I bought the shock extenders for a 300ex and it is very heavy . Go with the wider a arms.

full flight A arms are garbage! i had a set on my banshee and every ball joint was loose which isnt very reassuring testing the top speed... imo i would opt for something else, anything else!
