Anyone installed a set of hand guards on their Rancher 420
#1
Looking to get my wife a set of hand guards for her Rancher 420 (foot shift) for Christmas. Has anyone installed a pair on their Rancher? If so, what brands/types and what have your experiences been with installing and using them? Just trying to find a set that will fit the Rancher 420 without having to move the control all around in order to install the bracketry.
Thank you.
Thank you.

I have Power Madd hand guards on my 420 and used the Rox Riser mounting arms.
Rox Risers handlebar risers for your snowmobile, atv and motorcycle
These mount the easiest with only a set-screw. You will still have to loosen and move somethings around to get the proper spacing on both ends of the bar. I even cut off the throttle spacer bar to get them in equal distances of right and left. Not a big job at all.
You can even get gauntlets which fit over the hand guards to use in the winter. These work great for cool or cold days riding and plowing snow.
