Rancher Rev Limiter
#1
Wow, I learned something new today on here. I've been troubleshooting a lean/rich condition, only to find out these things have rev-limiters. I should have thought of it, but it just never occured to me.
I hit it pretty easily in 2nd and 3rd gear. I fortunatey didn't find it until approx. 20 hours of riding(non-ES, no way to measure exactly) and my second oil change - should be fine I hope. Its amazing that not even the shop manual has any reference to either its existence, or a factor in troubleshooting high speed peformance (their reference, not mine)
Anyone have any idea at what rpm they kick in, and roughly how far below red-line it might be. Just curious.
