No smoke, atv has power rode it yesterday, and yes its a 450r

Send you old oil to these guys. They will tell you EXACTLY what the contaminant is. I've used them twice and for $20, it's great.

+1 I live 30 minutes from these guys and talked with one of their tech's personally since they do oil analysis on our readymix trucks. Very sharp guys. They can tell you all kinds of things about the condition of your engine just by looking at the used oil.

Since it has 75 hours I would change the piston and rings. Cylinder will probably need replating as well. Heck, while you are at it the clutch probably needs a little love too. There are plenty of people who will swear these things last forever between rebuilds, really depends how hard you ride it. Personally I think 50 hours is the max for me. Do yourself a favor and replace with a forged piston. Cast and you will be lucky to get 25 hours out of it no matter how you ride.
