when i start it it sounds fine but then when i go to drive it it stalls any ideas thank you in advance

 

probably not getting enough gas. which would be a carb problem. did you clean the carbs? check the jets too and make sure they arent plugged. otherwise possibly check the throttle, that it is in there correctly.

and does it stall out if you give it gas while its just sitting there, not in gear?

 

yes it does very often but im just affraid i might screw it up even more and yea it stalls often if its not in gear after like 1 min or if i give it gas it will often stall, do you think that would be a fuel problem?

 

Try a new spark plug first, it may be fouled and flooding it out when you give it gas. Other than that like the above post it may need a good carb. cleaning.
