As for Beergut Honda manual says not to use an energy conserving oil or an oil with additives not to run only Hondalube

I never ran hondalube- waste of money.

I can **** pretty far- depends how much I've had to drink and which way the wind is blowing.

while you are at Walmart, get the long funnel, it fits perfectly into the top of the oil tank, that way you are not pumping almost 3 quarts of oil. The tank holds about 1.5 quarts, you fill it,then run the engine for a few seconds to pull the oil out, then add the rest, I believe it is 2.8 quarts, but then......I dont have a Honda manual.... To check level, after the motor has been running, wait about 30 sec after you shut it off to allow oil to drain back from the engine, then pull dipstick and check level.

Mine is a 03 400ex and also my first. I love it, fast enough to have fun on but not too fast to be crazy on the top end. Have not had a single problem in the two years I've owner it after getting it used from a friend of mine.
