Wow didnt think this was going to be a pissing contest. Well since you know best then run 87. I was just stating Honda says to run 91+. Since the OP was a novice wouldnt using a higher octane give him less fuel related problems as you stated?

I never ran hondalube- waste of money.
I can **** pretty far- depends how much I've had to drink and which way the wind is blowing.

while you are at Walmart, get the long funnel, it fits perfectly into the top of the oil tank, that way you are not pumping almost 3 quarts of oil. The tank holds about 1.5 quarts, you fill it,then run the engine for a few seconds to pull the oil out,then add the rest, I believe it is 2.8 quarts, but then......I dont have a Honda manual.... To check level, after the motor has been running, wait about 30 sec after you shut it off to allow oil to drain back from the engine, then pull dipstick and check level.
