I just bought my first ATV a few months ago and I bought a Honda recon 250 with the electric shift. I have noticed that some times going through the gears it can shift up to about 4th gear and then it will not shift anymore and the #1 light will start blinking. I can shut everything off and start it back and it will work fine. The past 2 times I have riden it, it acts like it will not go into gear at all. I can shut the motor off and hear it trying to go but it does nothing. I can then turn the key off and try it again and it will work fine. What should I be looking into to try and solve this issue, it's getting frustrating?
