Default 450 Foreman ES Shift problems

Hi all, new to here but looking for help.. ES shift on 2000 Honda Foreman 450 has stopped working. Been through fault finding twice, changed control unit, angle sensor and change motor. Battery and fuses all good.. shifts ok manually. Not sure where to head with this now.... any help/advice greatly appreciated....

Looks like it has to be an ECU fault, most owners balk at the cost of a new ECU and do the modification to foot change.

Thanks for the response.... all the fault finding flowcharts pointed to that so i bought a second hand one from America... plugged it in but same issue.... might just go for the foot changer...
