I have a 92 250X and I'm getting no spark, I've taken out the plug then inserted it into the cap and tried to see if I was getting any spark and I got none. I replaced the plug and still no spark.
can any one tell me what else to check.

check and see if its not the coil if u already havent. this happened to mine and i couldnt figure out why but turns out the CDI box went out on it. is any else of ur electric out?

Is ther any way to test if the CDI or coil is bad.

 

The only way to check those is to replace them with a known good part and see what happnes.

 

Bring the coil to your dealer they should check it for free the cdi cant be checked

 

I had this happen on my last 250X. One day it was fine the next it wouldn't run. Turned out being the CDI box....

 

my 300ex blew the CDI Box too...the 94
