2002 Rubicon broken drive shaft?
I went into a mud hole and heard something snap and now no
rear axle drive and just a little bit of front axle drive but if you
give it just a little bit of throttle the front end makes
a clicking noise and no drive. Anybody had this problem? Where
do I start?

Engine off, put the bike in forward and remove the filler plug from the rear diff. Roll the bike forwards and backwards and see if the crownwheel rotates with the axle, if it doesn't, you have worn splines on the axle shaft and/or crownwheel. If the crownwheel does move but wobbles about, the diff bearings have gone. If the crownwheel does move and seems OK, check if the UJ inside the rubber boot, just behind the engine, is going round when you move the bike, if it isn't, either the diff bearings have gone or the UJ or splined prop shaft is damaged, so will need removal to check them. If everything does move, the problem is inside the gearbox.
The front end is more tricky, as the 4WD drops out when you don't have the engine running. Once you have the rear end fixed, handbrake on, jack the front up, get the engine running, engage 4WD and spin the front wheels by hand, if they both go the same way, watch the front prop shaft and check if all of it is turning. Usually a spline has gone in a muff coupling.
