2000 Honda 400ex

Hey guys, I gotta question I have a 2000 400ex and I bought a OEM piston and jug/cylinder off a 2007 400ex ! Is it completely compatible?

Hmm. The 2007 was the oldest model that has parts comparable with the older models. Im not positive but I thing it will work
