My 1986 Honda Trx200sx has had some problems when I go to shift out of First, to me it feels like the clutch isn't going down far enough to be able to shift again. Any Suggestions?

 

have you tried adjusting the clutch? If you have, and it still won't change gear, you may have either a problem with the multiplate clutch or the gear selector mechanism. To adjust the clutch you slacken the adjuster locknut, turn the screw slowly anti-clockwise until resistance is felt, then turn clockwise 1/4 turn, and re-tighten the locknut.
