Default 95 Honda Fourtrax 300 Total Battery Drain when attempting Start Need Help!

So, I just replaced the starter, solenoid and battery on my 95 Honda trx300s. The problem I'm having is when the start button is pushed, the battery drains immediately. The starter does about a 1/2 rotation, before the battery completely dies. Does anyone know what the problem could possibly be? Looking forward to hearing feedback to help me resolve this problem. thank you.

Either you have bought a dud battery or you haven't charged it before use. Other possibility a bad connection, one of the main ones, battery, solenoid, starter or earths.

I did fully charge the battery. It is brand new, so perhaps a dud. Could it be possible that I have a bad regulator? Thanks for your comments.
