Froggy... It's all a matter of preference man. Up here in Quebec I have had the chance to buy some 250R's for about 1500$. I personnaly think they look outdated and down right ugly. The plastic looks like the 80's and so does the rest.

Why buy and ride a relic when better rides are available?!?! I decided on the 3 quads listed below...and I don't look too silly switching back and forth from a new Raptor to an even faster modded Scrambler to a killer Xplorer for the mud.

I think we can decide for ourselves what makes us "look" like good riders! We don't all need an R to make us feel that way. Thanks

I am not saying that it isn't going to happen. I am just saying, when was the last time you say a quad that was released in Februrary, and with it over a year and a half away, how can they pin point it to that exact month. Really would be sweet to see it though. I also think that quads would get more a sell if they released the new years in Spring instead of Fall. Just my opinion though.

Yeah later "peep". Who the hell is brand bashing? I think and probably along with banger that Honda make some of the best quads around, point is they don't make a high performance one and I don't see a full high performance quad in the future "peep."

HMM! Frog2433 as I recall you didnt even finish the race this past weekend at Beaver Valley what did you do a hole 2laps! If your not crying about your thumb hurting you then its something else. Why dont you get off of that COUCH you call a quad and race your bike like I do. My fault you cant even do 1hour on the quad let alone 2 on a bike hehe. I will be riding with you this weekend as I do usually everyweekend and it will be the same old story xtreme $hitting all over Froggy, NOW come on froggy tell the truth while you can hill climb that is about the extent of your abilities and to be honest the R does most of the work due to its wheelspin and good geometry and low ride height and your right in one case the R is a good all around quad for you or I but not everyone wants a 14 year old 2stroke which I can understand. Well we will see next week at the GNCC who does better, wait one minute I have a vision xtreme up front froggy in the back as usuall. I just talked to you on the phone and you said you are getting some motor work done on your CR well I think you should learn how to use the power you have before you go and waist your $$! As you know I have had all bikes and I told you that Hondas F'ed up by going to the AL frame because exp on your year(97) IT VIBRATES! Anyway I feel the R is better for one thing and one thing only HILLCLIMBING and mx and I know this first hand, as for racing xc the raptor or ex are great machines and as I stated before its RIDER ABILITY, not the machine in most cases. So Froggy go BS someone who hasnt rode with you time and time again.

ya know gary... yes the "later peepz" was lame granted that. Yes HONDA does make some very dependable and nice quads hell i own one that is 15 years old ! HONDA will come out with a new high preformance quad sometime but comon these posts are a dime a dozen do a search and you'll find ALOT of them . he didnt even give us any substantial ( sp?) proof that it could be true. so untill i see a photo or a memmo or somthing im not gonna belive it

Feb is one of the conventions for Honda. Yes, I too wish there was going to be the 450ex. But, It's not going to happen yet. It's NOT going to be heavy though. It'll weight just about as much as the Raptor. 600-650cc with reverse and liquid cooling. It'll still rock! It's not for racing motocross (just like the Raptor) it's for aggressive trail riding, racing cross country, and hare scrambles. It's going to be what the majority of the consumers are asking for...just wait and see.

Hey, how refreshing. It's true, riding quads and dirt bikes is a lot about the rider. I'm glad to see someone realizing that. My bro-in-law that rides utility quads all the time, can flat out ride. He was smoking some of my buddies on 300EX
s with his 4x4 400 Foreman S. They were struggling to keep up and he is goofy for riding without a helmet, but ya know he wouldn't be able to spit that tobacco juice out, if he had a full face helmet on. HA!HA!!
