i took my father out to look at new quads yesterday and i think he should buy a Recon because he's not looking to buy a 4x4 and he dosen't want any thing real fast. what he wants to do with it is use it to check on whe feilds and use it to go praie dog hunting with he also likes the low price of it. i wanted to know what other people do with theres and if you like yours.

thanks

yeah I think he should buy the recon. I use mine for everything. Its very versatile. Its a great atv. You'd be surprised how much mud they'll take you through also. Really strong for a 250 and its pretty fast for a 250 also.

I can't tell you how much my Recon has been good to me. I like hard sport riding at the local riding area. I ride with Blasters, 300 & 400 EXs, a Raptor and a new 250 EX. It may not be the fastest out there but I fit right in. Plus, I like to go fishing a lot and not all of my fishing holes let me get there with a 4x4 truck. So I load up my Recon and fit right in with my Rubicon, Grizzly and Rancher riding/fishing budddies. It is pretty quick for a 250 utility. I have beat Fourtrax 300s countless times while they have beat me too. I just love this bike and it hurts me to say that it will now be downgraded to reserve duty to make room for my new 2002 Yellow 400 EX that comes in Friday!!
