Buy an ATV plastic weld kit. I bought one and it only cost $40.00. It comes with the welder and plenty of rods for 10 quads. If you take your time and weld the crack together properly you can barely tell there ever was a crack.

well hmm that aint amazin tip ties? i did the same thing but i drilled a hole on each side of the crack and used wire.. then just use a pair of pliers and twist togethor the ends.. i did that ever 2 inches.. my plastic was sturdy and held togethor good.. except when i started to go muddin and creek running the wire got kinda rusty and broke... but the wire ties sounds like the best way to go

I just put a piece of thin metal on the underside of the plastic, so you dont see it, then drill holes through the plasic and metal, then put rivets through the holes, the cracks never get bigger

hey man instead of keeping on trying to fix the plastic you should save up money and buy new plastic. There are planty of ads in quad magazines. Plus you can get some really cool new graphics on the new plastic.

To fix it with no future worries drill holes on each side of the break and install a piece of a rubber truck mud flap across the break. This has worked for me numerouse times. It also gives some flexability for the next time the plastic has extreme presure against it. They should have made them this way to begin with!
