The quad bashing is totally killed this forum for me.
Almoast every post has some smarta$$ reply about how
that person should have bought *****.

Tired of hearing people putting down other peoples hard
earned quads.

"The 250EX is a kitty bike......" for example.
If I was seriously INTO my brand new 250EX, and heard someone
say that, id be pissed.

You want to visit two of the most awsome forums yet, visit
www.zcar.com, or www.miataforum.com.

Take a lesson.

Have fun, everyone.
You lost me.

"(no offence...hehe)

If your tired of sending your yamaha to the shop, I would seriously
advise against a Polaris. I think their reliability record is
worse than Yamaha. (is that possible?)"

"You know, I hate to rain on your polaris parade, but how boring.
No skill whatsoever.
Just nail the throttle and go. Constant RPM's.

Half the fun of riding my 400EX is shifting, using the clutch, powershifting into second and fishtailing the rear end all over.....

I just dont see why youd buy a big sport quad with a FULLY automatic tranny, constant RPM's Honda civic HX style.

I dont care HOW bad that polaris would beat my 01' 400EX in a drag. Id NEVER, EVER, EVER buy a polaris, let alone with THAT tranny.

Would you buy a Dodge Viper with a tranny like that? How about a Ferrari?
(and YES, the F1 tranny in the F355-F1 is different. theres manual shifting involved"

Your tired of people putting down others hard earned quads??

hehe,
good one Scrambler X.

Oh and by the way, I saw a 2002 Scrambler X for the first time yesterday and my Polaris dealer let me take it for a ride. One sweet quad except I would much rather have a maual clutch. How do you like yours.

I like it a lot, the auto in the SrcramX is much more responsive than earlier polaris quads. I enjoy the manual clutch sometimes too, thats why I have the 250X, but the auto is incredible for dunes and drag racing.

I would have to say I am not brand loyal. I purchase what ever suits my needs at that time in my life. Gee's half the fun is going around and looking at all the really nice machines that we have available to us today. There's a new KTM and Polaris dealer here now locally and who knows maybe next time it might be KTM in the door and Kawasaki dirt bike out. Honda out and then Polaris in. I can see for my wife where she might like the auto trans system Polaris has. Chet

Of course there is no bashing on those sites. Humm, lets think about it, Z car. Okay, a site dedicated to the Z's. Miata forum, humm, probably only people that like Miatas on that one.

Now mix the Z car forum and the Miata forum and I gaurantee you have the Nissan vs. Mazda wars boiling up all over the place, not to mention the Miata vs RX-7 (the real car from Mazda) wars.

You said you were tired of the wars. You must not race because you obviously dont have a competitive nature. Good ridence I say. Through all of this fueding people learn things, maybe not the way you want to but they do. Go over to a stictly Honda site and you wont see that kind of stuff. "Take a lesson," give me a break!

Have fun on the Miata forum. A 4x4 forum or an off road forum might interest me but definitely not a Miata sportscar wannabe forum. Now the RX-7, that's a different story, those are what I call a sportscar.

You guys obviously dont know **** about the Miata.
All you know about is the "girly" car.
Miata is aimed at a DIFFERENT crowd. People often buy them because
its a "cute little commuter car". Not what its made for.
If you all research a bit, the "racing beat" Mazda Miata holds
Car and Driver and another mags record for the fastest slalom speed of ANY car they have tested. The Mazda Miata holds more autocross (solo II) championships than any other car. You people saying the Miata is a girl car only shows ignorance. The Miata a is rear wheel drive, lightweight roadster.
The Miata motor comes from the old Mazda 323 GTX turbo AWD cars and are capable of handling turbo pressure of up to 15PSI daily driven on PUMP gas.
Goto the miataforum and search for someone with "minimonster" as username.
STOCK engine internals, running 25 (!!!!) PSI, making 400 HP AT THE REAR WHEELS, and runs 10 second 1/4 mile times. It aint a girl car.
My 94' Miata has a Torsen LSD (from factory) rear diff specifically made for racing. No chick car.
