Do any of the pro-riders in the forums know how to replace a clutch in a 00' Honda Recon.

Are you talking about the c-clutch, or the multiple disk setup?

Have you tried to adjust the clutch first. one wrench and a screwdriver. read the owners manual on how to do it. Chet

I tried that but it just adjusts the play in the clutch and does not help with the slippage. You will just have to replace it.

Been there, done that. You NEED to get a manual from honda to start with. You should also have a torque wrench and the usual assortment of metric tools(make sure you have a 24mm deepwell.) The manual says you need a clutch puller to remove the centrifigal clutch,(cost almost 100 dollars)I used a steering wheel puller,(be careful.) To remove the clutch disk I put it in 5th gear and had someone hold the brake to loosen the bolts.(and to torque them down.)hth.

so, trx300..lets recap, you now have a Raptor (With a powercore 3?), a Recon, and something that is 400cc's that you have been riding since you were 9? I'll bet it was those hackers, huh?

hondatrx300
I've read alot of your posts, most of them seem to make no sence what so ever.
If you have a recon? What would you want with an older trx300 2x4??
Also cold you tell me what planet you got your powercore 3 from?
I wonder if they make them for 300exs (lol).
