What co. did you buy it from? How long have you had it?Any problems ?
Are you happy with it? Did you rebuild bottom end ?
Aprox.how much should I plan spending on it?
Thanx for your input,Dave

I have the 330 pro-X kit on my 86 trx250R. Bought it from CT racing way back in 1995. I got the whole kit from carb to silencer. Let me tell you it is fast, real fast. I do all my riding in the sand. I opted for the race porting with race gas. I would out run just about every banshee that I lined up against. Wheelies in 4th gear easy. I spent 2300 dollars for my setup. 39mm smooth bored kehin carb ,whale pipe (it is huge), hinson clutch basket, clutch update kit. You will love out running those banshees with the 330 kit , don't know about the 310 kit. Mine has been very reliable.
Revs like a stock 'R' pulls like a big four stroke in the lower RPM's . I know I have a raptor also ,I looked at the DS 650 but it is too heavy for me to move around if I got it stuck in the sand plus no reverse.

Go with the 330 unless you just rebuilt your bottom end. I have the complete 310 set up with cylinder, pipe, and carb from CT. After installing I ran about 10 gallons of gas through it before the bottom end let go. So you WILL need to rebuild your bottom end when you install the 310 kit. My CT310 is not the fastest thing in the dunes but I don't drag race and it is worlds better than the old stock cylinder used to be.

I just put an ESR 310 kit on my 88. I paid 1600 even for the cylinder, porting, pipe, read spacer, cr reed cage and reeds, 38 mm air stryker, and billit exhaust flange. It flies! My bottom end was in very good shape so I did not rebuild it, although my machine was ridden by a lady before I got it. ESR is claiming 53 ponies on premium. Numbers don't mean much to me, but this machine is a good deal faster than my 98 Banshee with paul turner mids and K&N filter w/air box lid removed. The port work is absolutely beautiful. I ordered the mid-range porting and pipe. It has a very strong hit and pulls very strong until a generous top-end with good over-rev. I like that kind of power so it is Ideal for me. It requires a fair amount of clutch work. They make a "woods/mx" set-up that is more bottom end oriented and an extreme top end kit as well. The customer service is first rate and they shipped my order in less than 1 week. The pipe is the best fitting pipe I have ever used on a 250R, doesn't shake around like my FMF pipe did.
I decided not to go with CT because of all the negative I have heard and read about their products and customer service. If you have any other questions, I would be more than happy to answer them. I will be going in for surgery on FRI. but if I am healed by Halloween, I would be more than happy to line it up against anybody. I am not saying that it will win, just for comparison purposes here so we all know. I am interested in finding out what it will do, myself.
