Look's like you broke the air/fuel screw off. The best way to clean that carb is to go to advance auto or somewhere and get a gallon of the carb cleaner with the basket in it and soak it a while .Make sure to take all rubber seals and plastic stuff off first or it will swell them putall the jets in there also. After there done soaking blow out the jets and passages with gumout and air.

I can't really say for sure thats what it is but it looks like the air/fuel screw. and it would prolly be ok since it is still prolly set at spec's unless it has been moved might be able to turn it with plier's? The only thing i can see that might be a problem is cleaning the carb with the screw broke and if ya can't get it out of there there is prolly no way of cleaning the passage behind it but if ya let it soak a day or so it might clean some of the passage without removing the screw. But if ya do remove the screw count the turns in till it's seated prolly like 2 and then remove it.

The first link said "restricted area" and your other album is empty. I would take your carb to a shop and see if they can remove that screw for you and buy a new one. Oh and one more thing, do you have spark? Compression? Was fuel getting to the plug?
