'86 R hood?

I've seen 400EXS with 86 250R hoods and i was wondering if i would be able to put one on my 300? If so do any of you think it would loook good? One more thing, i am making my own header, what size pipe do you think i should use. Is 1 1/2" to much? thanks

The hood will not fit unless you butch it on there then it will look crappy. Good luck with the pipe !
