It's running like a dream, starts on the first kick every time. I'm coming down to the end of this project (250R restore) I'll post pics when I'm done. I'll probably make a two-stroke website, I'm a web designer and I haven't put out a new site in a few weeks.

I'm 15 rice. lonestarbanshee the 12:1 ratio takes race gas (don't know to much about that stuf) I want to stay on pump gas mostly because it is cheaper and I can't find race gas. and I also hear it costs about $7.00 a gallon which is some money.
How much differance is their between a 11:1 and a 12:1 how much more power is it?
and If I ran race gas in a 11:1 how much more power would I have over pump gas?
every one has been helpful.
Thanks.

I am almost positive the 11:1 uses pump gas. If not, the 10:1 does.

I completely understand you wanting to stay on pump gas. VP gets expensive! That's why my motor has mid-porting ONLY.

thanks rob, i just started a new job so i guess i need to chill a bit on the stress.

11:1 should be run on higher than 93 octane (in my opinion). You might be able to get away running 93 but you will most likely have problems. To play it safe I run 110-92 mix. I Mix it to about 100 octane. 110 turbo blue runs 3.50 a gallon by my house. I would say anything around 96 should be fine. 12:1 compression would definately require at least 100 octane. If you ride it alot, dont want to work on it much, and dont want to spend $$$$ on gas, i wouldn't go any higher than 11:1
