I think I have a few transmission problem and its kinda hard to describe but I'll try. When shifting through the gears, each time I let out the clutch theres a clunking sound and bike lurches a little before the gears engage. The bikes rideable but the shifting is not smooth at all. Reverse sometimes does not engage as well, when pulling up on the reverse handle the reverse light always pops on and stays on but sometimes it doesn't move as if its in neutral. And lastly when I shift into first gear and rev it and pop the clutch sometimes it slips into neutral. Maybe they will go away as I break the bike in more? I only have about 9 or 10 hours on it. Does anyone have any idea whats wrong? Thanks for any help-

For one you really shouldn't pop the clutch. Aslo was this bike new or used when you first got it?

sounds like the quad is brand new...

if it is...the clutch cable is to tight and clutch not fully disengaging. take it back to the dealer.

you should have around an 1/8" free play at the clutch perch...(it should "wiggle" back and fourth a little)

It was new. If I can't figure it out I guess I'll take it to the dealer but first I'll check a few things like the idle.
