yah, i know there is a lot of talk about this damn bike, but i was out riding with a few buds (that usually ride dirtbikes) and they were saying that a few dealers around southern wisconsin had 450EX's. they said that they were stock but i had a hard time believing it. is there any validity to this? is there a compnay that modifies these for a relatively low price?

 

There was a shootout between a yamaha 426 quad and a honda 450 quad in the latest 4 wheel atv action mag, or dirt wheels can't remember which one. Some company put together both of them and I believe the price would be around $20,000 (ouch). They had a lot of aftermarket racing parts so that jacked up the price, as well as the price for the motorcycles but I still think it would be expensive to do it. Would be nice having one of those motors in a lite quad frame though.

 

yah, i read that arcticle. pretty sweet. does anyone know who would punch out a stock 400 for a decent price? any prices? ball park for everything.
