Not that it matters, but I thought since you were into cars: a 351 is not a 5.4, it's a 5.8.

 

yea i agree with the wole wanting more power iv rode about 5 400ex's rangeing from stock to piped and cammed none with engine kits yet tho,i dragged a pipe 300ex with a frineds 400ex and lost they just kinda roll up to speed or maybe im use to my r, and that guy compareing a 400ex to the c dales is on drug's there alittle more to it than displacement dude

yea, i realized that just a minute ago,,, i had been readin an article on fords 5.4 modular motor on a website at the same time i was replying to the thread, and i must have accidently typed that instead of 5.8, i meant to correct myself when i got back online, but looks like you already did that for me. thanx for the correction, and sorry for the slip up.

Malochala, a stock 400ex would whip a 300ex with a cam, pipe, air filter, jets, pistons, and carburetor to shreds, then it would take the remains and turn them into oblivion! The 400 is a great bike, no matter what they say!!
