Question: What do we thing the acceleration/top speed of the Rincon will be. I love my foreman except I wish it had a better top speed and more high rpm power. A dealer old me the Rubicon was SLOWER than my foreman S due to the fact that the hydrostatic trans in the Rubicon sucked up so much power. Since the Rincon is only a 3 speed I was wondering if it would not be all that fast as well. Any ideas?

Also, why can't anyone make a 650 manual shift 4 x 4 that weighs under 500lbs?

 

i agree, what's wrong with shifting, it's fun to bang up through the gears, and a hell of a lot more reliable, i know a belt can be changed in 10 minutes, but that's a pain. foot shift quads stop at 500cc, suzuki is the only one who offers the same quad in auto and shift versions. and AC, i guess the rubi is too, but that's not realy shifting

 

I have heard that 58-60 mph is all it will do, but the ride is real soft....

 

If you want to go really fast, a ute is not the machine to do it on. You're riding way over your ability to control the machine at high speeds as a result of the suspension. Wanna go fast on a 4x4?? Yamaha Wolverine, under 500lbs, 430 kit from any reputable engine builder. It'll go thru the mud still and it will fly.

 

I replied to your other thread also, the Rubicon is much faster than the 450 S. Your dealer is a twit.

 

Agreed: The Ruby IS faster than the 450-S. Seen it time, and time again.

 

so logic says the Rincon will be even faster, right?

 

I would think so, considering it has a 150 more cc's and a tranny that seems like it is a better setup for speed.
