yeah if anybody could help on on what tires i should buy for my 300ex that would be most helpful. i need something for dirt and trail use only. and also i need something that could increase my power or speed besides a pipe or air filter.

My neighbor has a '99 300ex with 20x11x9 Maxxis Razr's and a cheap DG pipe. Even with the stock jets it is noticeably faster and has no problems. I recommend 20's over the stock size on trails having ridden both. The 20's seem to make it more stable in fast, tight turns on the trails. They do, however lower top speed which isn't much of a problem in the woods.

I have 20x11x9 Holeshot XCs on my bike. I like the 20's because they handle better. You can get 4 or 6 ply. The 6 ply lasts very long, but they are heavy. I would get the 4 ply Holeshot or Razr for a 300ex.

The 20 refer's to the outside diameter of the tires. Yes this will fit on your stock wheels as long as you get 9 inch tires. (20=outside diameter, 11=width of tire, 9=wheel). The 20's will be lower profile because they are shorter and the 11 inch width will be wider. I think you would be pleased with a tire of this size.

Check herefor tire prices. I'm sure there are other sites, I just can't think of any.

yeah i really like that DG pipe i have on my 300. i think it makes a big difference from the stock pipe. i'm not sure which one exactly it is but its not krome like its black but it sounds the same as the krome one cause my dad has one on his warrior. i also have a k&n filter on my 300. i think it helps it breath better but i don't know how much. but i would definately recommend the dg pipe for anyone.

The DG pipe on neighbor's 300 is an aluminum DMC(I think). It is noticeably louder if sound is a priority. I don't much care for the added noise, but the added power in the mid to upper range is noticeable.
